Tribac or tribac leaf is an independent multi-national tobacco merchant specialising in the sales of all styles of un-manufactured tobacco. Varieties such as flue cured virginia tobacco, burley tobacco, dark fire cured tobaccos, oriental leaf tobacco, cigar tobaccos, and cut rag tobaccos.
The tobacco is shipped in various forms: in cartons, bales, in container or break bulk.
The tobaccos supplied can be used for the manufacture of cigarettes, cigars, snuff, hand rolling or pipes. The nicotine present in tobaccos varies from region to region but we are able to supply low or higher nicotine depending on our customer's requirements.
Tribac was formed in Zimbabwe where we have a large operation including the buying of tobacco on the auction floors and warehousing the goods in our own purpose built tobacco warehouse.
Tribac are now present in Malawi through our investment in Africaleaf, Zambia, South Africa, Asia and the UK.

We specialise in sales around the world including Asia, the far east, the middle east, Russia, north Africa and Europe.
The personnel employed are predominantly ex intabex staff from leaf, shipping and finance bringing many years of experience in the tobacco trading environment.
Tribac felt the need to set up a web site because our major competitors in the tobacco leaf dealing business universal leaf, dimon and standard commercial tobacco have set up their own sites which are informative to customers.
Although we are not a publicly quoted company on the stock exchange we are a very ambitious company and are continually investing or re-investing in the tobacco industry. We feel that setting up a web site for tribac enhances our reputation as a high tech player dealing in an agricultural commodity. This means we are able to supply a high level of service when buying or selling tobaccos.
We supply to a large majority of the cigarette manufacturers worldwide and provide a total sales service including shipping, insurance and banking. We are able to assist with all aspects of the industry and can sell by tobacco samples or host manufacturers when they visit a tobacco-growing region.
We also advertise in tobacco journal and tobacco reporter and are always present at the various tobacco symposiums around the world.
